This book was amazing。It teaches you more about Hogwarts and the layout， and even had a fun light-up wand that can reveal， and write， in invisible ink！If you are a fan of the movies， books， or both， this book is a perfect match for you。It tells you about the layout of Hogwarts， the origin， and even throws in “facts” about the movie and books。In conclusion， if you’re a fan of Harry Potter I would say to get this。It’s a wonderful book and the wand makes it 3 times better！

This is a cute little book that my mom gave me for Christmas this past year。 I weirdly put off reading it for a few months， knowing I’d likely know everything that was written in it already （which I did ;P）， but I am glad I finally decided to give it a chance， as I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would。Thoughts:1。 The marauder’s map aspect is both lovely to look at and super functional for a location-based guide， such as this one。 I found the task of using the included invisible ink w This is a cute little book that my mom gave me for Christmas this past year。 I weirdly put off reading it for a few months， knowing I’d likely know everything that was written in it already （which I did ;P）， but I am glad I finally decided to give it a chance， as I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would。Thoughts:1。 The marauder’s map aspect is both lovely to look at and super functional for a location-based guide， such as this one。 I found the task of using the included invisible ink wand/pen to find all of the secret messages and drawings on the various sections of the map to be surprisingly fun。 I didn’t end up writing any of my own messages for others to， supposedly， find， but it’s a smart idea and I know I would have loved that aspect of the book when I was younger。2。 The actual information included in the book is quite thorough， but also to the point。 It was easy for me to read and didn’t feel too arduous to get through either - even though none of it was new information for me， as I previously mentioned。 I liked how logical the various locations of Hogwarts were gone through， in particular。 The book focuses on the movies， which bugged me a little bit， but it makes sense for this type of book， with it being a guide and meant for young readers who likely haven’t read the full book series yet。3。 I really appreciated the visuals in this short guide， especially the way the marauder’s map was designed。 The stills from the movies that were found on most pages were nice to see， and the accompanying illustrations were surprisingly lovely as well。 It is a well-thought-out design， overall， with it not being too “busy”， but also still quite interesting to look at。 。。。more
